Jörg Simon's Oberon, the Fairy King, dominates the stage with his sharp and human characterisation without pretension. Sylvie Sangiorgio as Tytania and Igor Antonov as Bottom, changed into an ass, perform their tricky one-night stand delicately. The outstanding ballet ensemble performs wonderfully, technically perfect and full of expression, with Sylvie Sangiorgio and Jörg Simon as Titania and Oberon in the leading parts.
